A collection of three furniture pieces. The principal item is an Edwardian style Sutherland gate-leg table crafted from a reddish-brown hardwood, such as mahogany or walnut. It features a drop-leaf top that forms an octagonal shape when fully extended, supported by slender spindle-turned legs and a matching spindled stretcher. The swinging gate-legs are fitted with brass casters. Also included is a triangular A-frame wall shelf, characterised by extensive relief-carving with scrolling and foliate motifs in a traditional Southeast Asian style. The third piece is a contemporary floor-standing magazine rack of stained light-coloured wood construction, featuring an arched top rail and X-frame dividers. Small adhesive labels are present on the table and shelf, though the characters are not clearly legible.
Condition report:
All items appear in good structural condition. The Sutherland table shows minor surface scratches and finish wear consistent with age. The carved shelf shows minor dust accumulation within the recessed carving. The magazine rack exhibits light abrasions and surface wear to the stained finish on the edges.
