This lot comprises a dark-stained wood stick rack of triangular form and a collection of walking sticks. The rack features three upright supports joined by a triangular top frame and cross-braces, constructed from a stained hardwood such as oak. A white adhesive label with the handwritten characters N846 is attached to one of the upright struts. The collection of sticks includes a natural bamboo example with a crook handle, a black lacquered stick featuring a white metal collar and a crook handle, and dark-stained wood sticks with crook handles.
Condition report:
The items are in fair vintage condition, showing signs of age and regular use. The wooden rack has surface scuffs, scratches, and wear to the finish, particularly concentrated at the base. The walking sticks exhibit general surface wear, minor indentations, and rubbing to the lacquer and wood finishes. One stick appears to have a slightly bent shaft.
