A group of three framed prints comprising two decorative colour prints after Zula Kenyon and a large pastoral landscape. The two prints after the American illustrator Zula Kenyon (1873-1947) are titled ‘THE SONG OF THE BLUEBIRD’ and ‘THE HOME OF THE BLUEBIRD’ in the lower margins. Both works depict a young child in a white dress within a blooming garden setting with bluebirds and bear the printed signature ‘Zula Kenyon’ at the lower left. These are presented in gilt-finished frames with wide paper mounts. The third artwork is a large horizontal landscape print executed in a traditional 19th-century style, depicting cattle watering at a riverbank near a cottage with rolling hills in the distance. This print is set within a wide, dark-stained wooden frame featuring a gilt inner slip and a textured mount. All three works are presented under glass.
Condition report:
All items exhibit signs of age-related wear. There is noticeable fading and colour shift to the prints. The paper mounts and margins show discolouration, foxing, and toning. The frames have minor scuffs, small chips to the gilt finish, and surface grime consistent with age and handling.
