The leatherette sails are embellished with colourful heraldic crests and flags, including the Cross of Saint George. The hull bears a partially legible mark reading Made in H…, attributed to manufacture in Holland. The second lamp is a two-masted schooner or yacht model with a light-finished wooden hull mounted on an integral matching plinth. It features tan parchment-style sails with orange perimeter whip-stitching. Both vessels are equipped with vintage electrical components, including bayonet-style light sockets and two-core wiring.
Condition report:
Both lamps show signs of significant age and wear. There is a heavy accumulation of dust across all surfaces and minor surface abrasions to the wooden hulls. The rigging and sail materials exhibit signs of degradation, including fraying and minor staining. The electrical components are vintage and have not been tested; professional rewiring is recommended for safety.
