A 2012 gold commemorative strike issued to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Struck in .585 fineness (14 carat) gold, the piece is presented in a Proof finish. The obverse features the 1942 Colonel-in-Chief design with the legend 1942 COLONEL OF THE GRENADIER GUARDS. The reverse features the Royal Coat of Arms with the inscription REIGN OF QUEEN ELIZABETH II and the hallmark 585. This item includes its original Certificate of Authenticity, numbered 01107, stating a limitation of 5,555 complete collections. The strike is housed in a clear plastic capsule.
