A collection of commemorative medals and coins featuring several base-metal items produced for the coronation of King Charles III. The group includes five gold-toned medals with colourised obverse portraits of the King and a royal cypher reverse, and two silver-toned medals, both in plastic packaging with Made in China labels. One silver-plated commemorative medal is presented on a card inscribed The Coronation 6th May 2023, specifying a .999 silver plating over an iron base metal with a proof-like finish. Also included is a Westair Reproductions Ltd. coin pack containing a reproduction Victorian gold-toned sovereign featuring a young head obverse and a crowned shield reverse. The collection is anchored by a genuine US 1885 Morgan Silver Dollar, struck in .900 fine silver, housed in a plastic holder labelled American Coin. The dollar features the Liberty profile obverse and an eagle with outstretched wings on the reverse.
