A collection of numismatic and commemorative items featuring United Kingdom and Jersey currency and commemorative pieces. The lot includes a 1951 Festival of Britain cupro-nickel Five Shilling (Crown) coin (KM-880), obverse featuring George VI and reverse depicting St George and the Dragon after Pistrucci, housed in its original maroon leatherette presentation case. Also present is a 1966 Bailiwick of Jersey four-coin set in a red Royal Mint presentation case, containing two bronze one-twelfth of a shilling coins and two nickel-brass threepence coins, each bearing the portrait of Elizabeth II. The collection features three commemorative ingots: one London 2012 Olympic Games issue with a sterling silver core (marked Ag .925 – 24 Grams) and a gold-layered surface with an inset crystal, and two generic gold-layered commemorative ingots. Paper currency is represented by a Royal Bank of Scotland £1 banknote (serial number B2 500750, Pick# 341a) with Edinburgh Castle on the reverse. Completing the lot are two Britain’s First Decimal Coins folders and a Birds Eye promotional coin folder containing early decimal issues (1/2p, 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p), alongside a carded 2005 Gunpowder Plot commemorative £2 coin.

Condition report:
The 1951 Crown is in uncirculated condition within its original box; the case shows minor age-related wear to the exterior and interior lining. The 1966 Jersey set is uncirculated, though the red case lining exhibits some spotting. Commemorative ingots are in brilliant uncirculated condition, housed in acrylic capsules. The Royal Bank of Scotland £1 banknote is in circulated condition with multiple vertical and horizontal folds and light surface soiling. The decimal folders show minor shelf wear and light toning to some cupro-nickel surfaces. The 2005 £2 coin is in brilliant uncirculated condition within its original presentation card.
