A collection of character figurines based on the works of A.A. Milne and E.H. Shepard, comprising glazed ceramic pieces by Royal Doulton and a painted figurine from The Disney Store. The Royal Doulton Classic Pooh series items are hand-made and hand-decorated with a glazed finish. The collection includes the following models: Oh Dear! Bathtime s Here (WP 59) depicting Eeyore; Yee Hah! (WP 90) from the Wild West Collection featuring Tigger with a wire lasso and original paper tag; Tigger Signs the Rissolution (WP 6); A Clean Little Roo is Best! (WP 54) from the Bathtime Collection; First Aid Friends (WP 72) from the First Aid Collection; and A Little Sponge for a Little Piglet (WP 51). Each Royal Doulton figurine bears the manufacturer s lion and crown backstamp, model title, and model number, with several marked as made in Thailand and dated 2003. The Disney Store figurine features a matte finish and depicts Christopher Robin and Winnie the Pooh sitting back-to-back. The base of this piece retains a label for The Disney Store, Ltd., Hammersmith, London, and is marked as made in China.
Condition report:
The collection appears to be in good overall condition. No chips, cracks, or visible repairs were noted during inspection. Tigger s wire lasso remains intact. Original retail stickers and paper tags are present on several of the pieces.
