A collection of various vintage lighting components and lampshades. The assortment includes a nautical-style novelty table lamp featuring a central red glass globe encased in a turned wooden frame with natural-coloured rope accents and a large circular wooden handle. It bears a small handwritten label reading A760m. Also present is a mid-century modern style table lamp featuring two bulbous sections of highly textured clear glass or acrylic joined by a central metal band, mounted on a rectangular wooden plinth base. The collection further includes a bell-shaped art glass lampshade with a mottled white and blue ground, decorated with hand-painted stylized floral motifs in orange and yellow, in the style of 1930s Czechoslovakian glass. Complementing these is a conical industrial-style lampshade in forest green vitreous enamel with a white interior, a large shallow cream-painted metal pendant shade with its electrical cord and bulb holder, and a small cream fabric lampshade finished with a matching fringed border.
Condition report:
The nautical lamp shows surface wear and scuffing to the wooden sections and light discolouration to the rope. The textured glass lamp shows surface dust and minor wear to the base. The art glass shade appears generally good with no visible chips or cracks. The green industrial shade exhibits chipping and enamel loss to the upper rim and lower edge consistent with age and use. The metal pendant and fabric shades show light surface marks and general soiling. All electrical items are sold as untested and it is recommended they are inspected and rewired by a qualified professional before use.
