A collection of approximately 35 vintage items comprising enamel lapel badges, commemorative medals, and tokens, predominantly of British origin and dating from the mid-to-late 20th century. The group includes various service and civic organisation items such as a Women’s Section British Legion enamel badge, a white metal St. John Ambulance Association circular badge, a Royal School of Church Music badge, and a Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) membership pin. Notable transport-related pieces include a button badge for the 150th anniversary of British Rail (1825-1975) featuring the double arrow logo, enamel pins depicting locomotives including a Class 43 HST, and a Commercial Motor Users Association or similar safe driving award.

The collection further contains a Masonic-style cross medal on a cream ribbon dated 1962, a National Cycling Proficiency triangular enamel badge, a Girl Guides Be Prepared trefoil badge, and a Countryside Alliance pin. Other items include two silver-toned monogram pins with the letters SJC or SIC, a variety of heraldic-style shields, and commemorative medals including one featuring a profile of a monarch and another marked 1732-1932. The items are presented with an original cardboard cigarette box printed with the text A LARGE SIZE CIGARETTE OF FINE QUALITY.

Condition report:

The collection is in varied vintage condition. Most items show expected surface wear, minor patination to the metal, and light scratches. Some older enamel pieces exhibit minor loss or chips to the glazed surfaces. Several badges retain their original pin-back or brooch fittings, while others may have missing or bent pins. The cigarette box shows age-related discolouration and wear to the edges.
