Buyer's Premium:

A collection of UK cupro-nickel circulation coins and a commemorative token, including a small metal hinged tin. The coinage consists of Two Shilling (florin), Shilling, and Five New Pence denominations dating between 1948 and 1971. The obverses display the bareheaded portrait of King George VI and the laureate and diadem portraits of Queen Elizabeth II with associated Latin titles. Reverse designs include the crowned Tudor rose surrounded by shamrock, thistle, and leek, and cruciform crowned shields. The group includes a large commemorative token for Duckhams inscribed DUCKHAMS 1899-1977 and Specialists in Lubrication featuring a vintage motorcar design.


Condition report:

All items are in circulated condition, ranging from good to very fine. Visible surface marks, scratches, and natural oxidation are present across the lot. Some coins exhibit darker toning and minor surface deposits. The token shows light surface wear and scratches. The storage tin displays significant surface wear and oxidation.
