A collection of British bronze coinage primarily comprising pennies and halfpennies. The assortment is housed in a two-part black display case. The coins represent several reigns, with obverses featuring portraits of Queen Victoria, King Edward VII, King George V, King George VI, and Queen Elizabeth II. Obverse inscriptions include GEORGIVS V DEI GRA BRITT OMN REX FID DEF IND IMP and ELIZABETH II DEI GRATIA REGINA F D. Reverse designs show the Britannia type with the denomination ONE PENNY. The coins are struck in bronze with plain edges.
Condition report:
Circulated. The collection exhibits varying degrees of wear from good to very fine. Most specimens show heavy brown patination and toning. Instances of green verdigris oxidation are visible on several coins. Surface marks, scratches, and minor edge bruises are present throughout the group consistent with commercial circulation.
