A varied collection of vintage wooden kitchenware and serving items, predominantly in the mid-century modern style. The assortment includes a two-tier wooden wall-mounted or freestanding rack with circular cut-outs on the top tier. Serving boards include a large, heavy end-grain parquet chopping board and two paddle-shaped bread or cheese boards. A set of five glass cups is included, each featuring integral circular wooden handles and bases, accompanied by a square wooden presentation tray. The collection contains a condiment set comprising a lidded wooden pot, a smaller lidded pot, an open bowl, and a small wooden scoop, all arranged on a circular wooden tray. A diverse selection of wooden bowls is present, including a nesting set of four petal-edged snack bowls, several boat-shaped nut or snack dishes, and larger shallow bowls. Serving utensils include a pair of large wooden salad servers. Trays within the lot consist of various serving pieces including a long rectangular tray and smaller individual trays. While no maker’s marks are clearly visible, the pieces are consistent with the style of 1960s and 1970s manufacturers such as Goodwood.
Condition report:
The collection is in good vintage condition overall. Most pieces show typical signs of age and use, including minor surface scratches, scuffs, and some drying of the wood grain. The parquet cutting board shows more pronounced marks from use.
