This collection comprises three silver-plated table accessories, likely of British manufacture from the late 19th to early 20th century.
The first item is a four-person egg cruet set featuring a circular pedestal stand with a wirework gallery. It holds four matching pedestal egg cups and includes four small spoons. The stand is surmount by a tall arched carrying handle decorated with scrollwork and a central finial.
The second item is a three-piece condiment set on a rectangular tray with a raised gallery and four ball feet. It features a central vertical handle with a turned bone or ivorine grip. The set contains three diamond-cut glass containers: a pepper shaker with a perforated silver-plated lid, a mustard pot with a hinged silver-plated lid featuring a spoon notch, and a central open rectangular container.
The third item is a miniature sugar scuttle-form basin on a circular pedestal foot. The body is decorated with engraved foliate patterns and includes a matching sugar scoop which rests in a holder at the rear of the scuttle.
No maker’s marks or hallmarks are visible on any of the pieces.
Condition report:
All items show signs of age-appropriate wear and light tarnishing. There is some minor thinning to the silver plating on the edges and high points. The cut-glass containers appear to be in good condition without significant chips or cracks. The turned handle on the condiment set shows minor discolouration consistent with age.
