A collection of mid-20th-century fishing reels and angling accessories, including several examples attributed to Penn. The assortment features a dark maroon baitcasting reel with composite side plates, a large black sea fishing reel with a star drag and twin handles, and a metal reel with significant green oxidation and patina to the frame. A further reel is fitted with light-toned rims and remains spooled with red monofilament line. The lot is accompanied by a brown leather tackle pouch, a black plastic handle, and several red rectangular items, potentially fishing weights or lure components.
Condition report:
The items are in used, vintage condition. Visible signs of wear include scratches to the side plates, significant corrosion and patination on the metal components of at least one reel, and general surface grime consistent with age and use. The leather pouch shows wear and surface marks.
