A collection of seven plush toys from the Compare the Meerkat advertising campaign, produced by Yakov’s Toy Shop in association with comparethemarket.com. The set includes a variety of characters and themed editions, each presented in a character-specific cardboard display box. The group features Aleksandr Orlov in his signature maroon velvet-style dressing gown with a gold-tone monogrammed A, and Sergei wearing a white shirt, red tie, and tan waistcoat with plastic spectacles. Also included are two Meerkat Movies Limited Edition figures: Aleksandr as Batman in a grey and black suit with utility belt and cowl, and Sergei as Superman in a blue and red suit with a red cape, accompanied by a paper Certificate of Authenticity. The collection further comprises Baby Oleg in white pyjamas with a multi-coloured insect print holding a plush caterpillar, Vassily in a black faux-leather jacket and rock-themed t-shirt, and Agent Maiya from the Specials Edition wearing a black tactical spy suit and blue-rimmed cat-eye spectacles. Condition report:
The toys appear to be in good, unplayed-with condition and remain secured within their original themed packaging. The presentation boxes show signs of minor shelf wear, including light scuffing to the edges and a small tear to the bottom front edge of the Aleksandr Orlov box. Two of the Meerkat Movies figures include their original paper certificates.
