Buyer's Premium:

A collection of United Kingdom and international philatelic material, primarily consisting of a black ring binder containing various covers and supplementary loose stamps. The binder features a range of UK First Day Covers (FDCs) and commemorative issues from the 1970s and 1980s, including London Landmarks (1980), British Painters – Turner (1975), and European Architectural Heritage Year (1975). These are typically cancelled with circular date stamps from the Edinburgh or London Philatelic Bureaus. Notable items include a signed 1974 RAF No. 27 Squadron commemorative flight cover cancelled in Singapore and Lincoln, and 1971 Football League Commemorative Series covers for Walsall F.C. and Bristol City F.C. bearing Machin definitive stamps. The collection further includes a mint block of Thailand stamps featuring a rose design dated 5 February 2010, a Flags of All Nations 152 sheet, and an envelope containing a large volume of unsorted used and mint stamps from territories including Nicaragua, the Philippines, and the UK. Most covers are addressed to locations in Plymouth and Bristol and are housed in protective plastic sleeves.

Condition report:

The collection is in mixed condition. Covers and FDCs within the binder are generally well-preserved within plastic sleeves, though some exhibit minor age-related toning. Loose stamps are unsorted and show varying degrees of use, including circular date stamps and machine cancellations. Perforations appear mostly intact on the modern sheets.
