An assortment of flatware comprising a stainless steel service by Viners and a set of six silver-plated pastry forks. The Viners service, from the Executive Suite range, features handles decorated with a stamped geometric zig-zag or chevron motif. The knife blades are marked VINERS STAINLESS STEEL. The service includes an assortment of table knives, dessert knives, forks, and spoons, housed in its original purple cardboard presentation box bearing the Viners Executive Suite branding and Hong Kong/Korea production origin. The cased set consists of six pastry forks with decorative shell and foliate scroll motifs to the handle terminals. These are presented in a black leatherette-covered case with a cream-coloured satin and black velvet interior. No maker’s marks are visible on the pastry forks.
Condition report:
The items are in used condition with signs of age and domestic wear. The Viners presentation box shows significant wear, including creasing, surface losses, and tears at the corners. The flatware pieces exhibit surface scratching and minor tarnishing consistent with use. The pastry fork case shows exterior scuffing and some staining to the interior satin lining.
