This collection consists of approximately twenty-eight souvenir spoons and one pickle fork, featuring various commemorative, travel, and promotional designs. The assortment includes three silver-plated promotional spoons for Rolex produced by Bucherer. Two of these spoons have finials displaying the Rolex name, crown, and shield with Bucherer Watches below, and Lucerne marked on the stem. The third Rolex spoon features a fan-shaped finial with the text Rolex The Worlds Best Wrist Watch, also marked Lucerne. A commemorative spoon for the 1977 Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II is included, featuring a crown finial and a tag dated 1977. Travel-related spoons include enamelled examples for Wembley, Rotterdam, the Rock of Gibraltar, and Kenilworth Castle. An enamelled pickle fork is present for Wallaman Falls Ingham, and another spoon features the name Oriana engraved in the bowl. Figural finials in the group include an enamelled cow, a rhinoceros, a deer, and a bird on a long-stemmed piece. The items appear to be made of electroplated nickel silver or base white metal.
Condition report:
The items show varying degrees of surface tarnish and wear throughout. Some pieces exhibit significant oxidisation consistent with age. Enamel details generally appear well-preserved with minor surface scratches.
