A 2024 silver fifty pence coin issued by Ascension Island, featuring a proof finish. The obverse depicts the left-facing effigy of King Charles III with the surrounding legend KING CHARLES III . ASCENSION ISLAND . 2024 . The reverse features a contemporary representation of St. George on horseback slaying a dragon, inscribed FIFTY PENCE. The coin is housed in a clear protective plastic capsule and presented within a black collector box with three vacant circular recesses, indicating it belongs to a larger set. Documentation includes a Certificate of Authenticity and a Certificate of Ownership booklet from Heritage Coins, a division of The Bradford Exchange, bearing the printed signature of Managing Director Stephen Lee.
Condition report:
The coin is in uncirculated proof condition with high mirror-like lustre and no visible wear, toning, or handling marks. The capsule, presentation box, and associated certificates are in excellent condition.
