A United Kingdom 2014 commemorative silver coin issued by The Royal Mint to mark the centenary of the First World War. The coin has a face value of twenty pounds and is struck in fine silver. The obverse displays the fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley, surrounded by the inscription ELIZABETH II D G REG F D TWENTY POUNDS. The reverse, designed by John Bergdahl, illustrates Britannia and a lion monitoring troop ships, with the text THE FIRST WORLD WAR 1914 1918. The coin is presented in a brilliant uncirculated finish with a reeded edge. It is contained within a protective capsule and a black presentation box, complete with a CPM Certificate of Provenance and a specifications card bearing the code YRF3 (A-61797).
