A collection of assorted outdoor and sporting equipment. The lot is highlighted by a vintage three piece split cane fishing rod by Bernard Sealey of Redditch England. The rod features a cork handle and is marked with a red and gold transfer label for Tudor Works and includes handwritten script reading R. Sealey and Tudor T. The collection includes two large rucksacks comprising a grey and black Ridge 40 plus 8 model and a navy blue Survivor 65 pack. Footwear consists of a pair of used dark brown leather hiking boots with Vibram soles and a new pair of black Chukka boots in original retail packaging labelled size UK 10 EUR 44. Camping gear includes a green enamel whistling kettle with a black handle two collapsible LED lanterns an Outwell 5L foot pump in original box and a rolled blue plaid travel rug. Water sports items include a pair of Two Bare Feet Boarding Co. swimming fins and a Zoggs Reef Explorer snorkel and mask set. The lot also contains two footballs including an Adidas Match Ball Replica Club and a John Sports ball alongside a paperback copy of The Walker’s Guide to Outdoor Clues and Signs by Tristan Gooley.
Condition report:
The collection is in mixed condition ranging from new in box to heavily used. The leather hiking boots show significant wear with dried mud and scuffing to the uppers and soles. The split cane fishing rod shows age related wear to the varnish and cork handle. The Chukka boots foot pump and snorkel set remain in original retail packaging. Rucksacks and footballs show signs of moderate use including surface dirt and minor scuffs. The green kettle and lanterns show light use.
