A collection of vintage children’s and fantasy literature comprising multiple paperback volumes and one hardcover edition. The group includes a three-volume set of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy, comprising The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King, published by Unwin Paperbacks. J.K. Rowling is represented by a paperback edition of Harry Potter & the Philosopher’s Stone published by Bloomsbury. The collection features several titles by C.S. Lewis, including volumes from The Chronicles of Narnia series, specifically The Magician’s Nephew, Prince Caspian, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, The Silver Chair, The Last Battle, The Horse and His Boy, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, alongside The Screwtape Letters and Fern-seed and Elephants, primarily published by Puffin and Fontana. Condition report:

The paperbacks show moderate to heavy wear consistent with age and regular use. Significant creasing, edge rubbing, and chipping are visible on the spines and covers. There is general tanning and discolouration to the page edges across the collection. The spine of The Horse and His Boy by C.S. Lewis is damaged with a visible tear at the base. The Tolkien paperback set exhibits rubbing and shelf wear to the spine edges. The Lewis Carroll hardcover has a white adhesive sticker applied to the upper spine.
