A large collection of assorted costume jewellery and small collectables, presented as an unsorted bulk lot within a clear plastic storage container. The assemblage features a wide variety of necklaces, bracelets, and charms in diverse styles, primarily from the mid-to-late 20th century. Materials identified include gold-tone and silver-tone base metals, polychrome glass, plastic, and wooden beads, as well as shell, enamel, and ceramic components. Visible items include a silver-tone novelty charm in the shape of a high-heeled shoe, a large nautilus shell pendant, and several pieces of Victorian-revival style silver-tone filigree jewellery. The lot also contains non-jewellery items such as a British 2nd class Christmas postage stamp and a miniature ceramic thimble featuring a heraldic crest with a red St George’s cross. Several smaller items are contained within clear plastic grip-seal bags, and a small white handwritten price tag marked 50p is attached to one strand of beads.
Condition report:
The items are stored loose and are heavily tangled within the container. Visible signs of wear consistent with age and bulk storage are present, including surface tarnishing to metal components, minor scratches to beads, and the potential for missing stones or broken clasps. The lot is unsorted and sold as seen.
