A collection of plush character toys and children’s literature, primarily themed around the Old Bear and Friends series by Jane Hissey. The group features a plush Bramwell Brown bear complete with an original Jane Hissey Old Bear and Friends cardboard swing tag. Also included is a honey-coloured plush bear wearing a floral drawstring neck pouch, featuring a foot pad embroidered with the Cherished Teddies brand name. A third plush bear is dressed in a green knitted jumper. The toy assortment is completed by a rag doll with blonde yarn braids, wearing a multi-coloured checkered top, denim trousers, and silver metallic shoes. The literary component comprises a large format hardcover volume titled Jane Hissey’s Teddy Bear Tales, which contains two complete stories, and a Red Fox paperback edition of Little Bear Lost. Additionally, the lot includes two matching doll-sized quilts or pillows made from a printed fabric featuring cartoon cats and fish, decorated with lace ruffles and yellow ribbon bows.

The items are in good, used condition. The plush toys show light evidence of handling and minor surface dust consistent with age. The Bramwell Brown swing tag is present with minor edge wear and light creasing. The books show typical shelf wear, including light rubbing to the spine ends and corners, and minor creasing to the paperback cover. The textile items are intact with no visible tears to the lace trim.
