A collection of hand-carved hardwood animal figurines, primarily depicting elephants alongside a single rhinoceros. The figures are rendered in various stances, including walking and standing, with trunks in both raised and lowered positions. The hardwoods utilised range in colour from deep black to reddish-brown and lighter tan shades. Decorative techniques include one elephant with intricate incised scrollwork and floral motifs across its back and head, and another with stylised faceted chip-carving. Several pieces include inset white tusks, likely of bone or synthetic construction. The rhinoceros figure features small inlaid eyes.

Condition report:
Good vintage condition overall with surface wear, dust, and minor scuffs consistent with age and display. Several elephant figurines are missing their inset tusks or show evidence of previous attachment points.
