A Ducal four-tier baker’s rack shelving unit of open form. The unit features a grey-finished tubular metal frame with an arched decorative crest containing scrollwork and out-turned bracket feet. It supports four fixed rectangular solid pine shelves with a clear warm-toned finish, exhibiting natural grain and knots. The underside of one shelf retains a green manufacturer’s label for ducal The Furniture People, Made in England by Ducal Ltd, Andover, Hampshire. Also present is a stamped production number 002124 and a white quality check sticker marked E11.
Condition report:
Good used condition. Minor surface scratches, light indentations to the wood, and minor scuffing to the metal frame consistent with domestic use. The structure is sound.
