A matching pair of contemporary three-drawer bedside chests, finished in an overall cream-coloured paint. Each chest features an overhanging top with a decoratively shaped serpentine front edge. The three drawers are fitted with simple turned wooden pull knobs, painted to match the carcass. The units are constructed from a combination of wood and manufactured boards, with the design finished by a matching moulded base and supported on small circular feet. The reverse of each chest is fitted with a plain hardboard panel. A small adhesive label is present on the top of one chest, though the characters are not clearly legible.
Condition report:
Both chests are in good functional condition, showing signs of light household wear throughout. There are scattered minor scuffs, light surface scratches, and small marks to the painted finish, most notably to the top surfaces and along the moulded edges. General surface dirt is present. No major structural defects are visible.
