A collection of six contemporary Native American themed figurines, including an example from the Hinton series. The pieces are manufactured from cast polyresin, hand-finished to replicate materials like carved timber, buckskin, and stone. The subjects include a female figure in buckskin with a grey wolf at her feet; a male figure in a star-patterned mantle and feathered war bonnet holding a bison shield; a male figure with a circular shield and full war bonnet on a burgundy base; a sculptural bust of a figure in a bear skin headdress with a small bear cub below; a hunter figure drawing an arrow from a quiver near a bison skull; and a standing female figure in a beaded dress. The figure with the star-patterned mantle features the maker name HINTON in raised block letters on the green base. One piece bears an inventory sticker numbered 109643.
Condition report:
The figurines are in good condition overall. Minor surface dust is present, particularly in the deep textures of the headdresses and on the bases. No chips, cracks, or repairs were observed. The painted finishes appear largely intact across the collection.
