An Ercol wall-mounted plate rack constructed from teak-stained wood. The design consists of two vertically-oriented side supports with a sculpted, organic profile, which are connected by four fixed horizontal rails of circular cross-section. The unit is designed for wall mounting and retains two circular metal eyelets for this purpose. The construction is characteristic of British mid-century furniture production.
Length: Approximately 90-120cm.
Condition report:
The rack is in good vintage condition. There is light surface wear to the finish, including minor scuffs and slight thinning of the stain along the top of the horizontal rails. The structure is firm and the mounting eyelets exhibit minor oxidation consistent with age.
