An Anglepoise Model 90 white-painted metal balanced-arm desk lamp. The design features a weighted circular base and a three-spring tension mechanism supporting an articulated square-section metal frame. The trumpet-shaped spun metal shade is fitted with a black plastic toggle switch at the apex. A printed label inside the shade indicates a maximum wattage of 60W. The lamp is wired with a black plastic flex and a standard UK three-pin plug.
Condition report:
The lamp shows signs of use and age, including paint losses and chipping around the rim of the shade and the circular base. There are minor surface scuffs to the articulated arms. The spring mechanism is functional. The electrical cord is loose from its retaining clips and should be re-seated. The electrical components have not been tested and require a professional PAT test prior to use.
