A matching set of three contemporary pine furniture pieces from the Victoria range by Ducal. The suite consists of two bedside cabinets and one filing cabinet, all constructed from pine with a polished finish and prominent knotted grain throughout. The bedside cabinets each feature three standard drawers fitted with turned wooden mushroom-style knobs and are raised on turned bun feet. Both bedside units contain a white rectangular manufacturer label to a drawer interior printed with: Victoria Made in England by Ducal Ltd, Andover, Hants Tel: 01264 333155. The two-drawer filing cabinet sits on a recessed plinth base. Its top drawer includes an integrated wooden stationery tray with three longitudinal grooves, while the deep lower drawer is fitted with a metal suspension rail system and contains a quantity of green Twinlock crystal-tab hanging files. This cabinet bears a green rectangular label to a drawer interior transcribed as: ducal, MADE IN ENGLAND, by DUCAL LTD ANDOVER HANTS SP10 5AZ TEL 01264 333456 FAX 01264 333156.
Condition report:
The suite shows signs of significant domestic use across all three pieces. The top surfaces exhibit numerous surface scratches, scuffs, and prominent white pressure marks to the finish. There are minor knocks and indentations to the rounded edges, plinth, and bun feet. The drawer interiors appear clean and all components are structurally sound and functional.
