A contemporary divan bed set by British manufacturer Myer’s. The set consists of a two-section divan base and a matching double mattress, both upholstered in a cream-coloured damask fabric with a floral and scrollwork pattern. The divan base features four integrated storage drawers. The mattress, identified by its label as the Richmond model, has a quilted top with a distinctive shell-like pattern. A large fabric label stitched to the mattress surface includes the maker’s name, the Richmond model name, the Myer’s Twin logo, and technical information including a 650-spring count for the 150cm size.

Condition report:
The set shows clear signs of previous use and storage. There is significant dark staining and soiling visible on the lower corners and bottom edges of the divan base sections. The mattress shows general wear and minor surface pilling. A loose white cord is draped over the item but is not a permanent fixture.
