A colour reproduction print after the 1953 painting by Anna Zinkeisen (1901-1976), titled The Coronation Bouquet. The work depicts the floral arrangement carried by Queen Elizabeth II during her coronation in June 1953, featuring a cascading bouquet of white flowers including orchids, stephanotis, and lily of the valley set against a dark forest green ground. The composition incorporates the Royal coat of arms and the E II R cypher surmounted by a crown in the upper left corner. The artist’s signature, A Zinkeisen, is printed in the lower right of the image area. The lower margin contains the printed text: ANNA ZINKEISEN, Coronation Bouquet, Painted specially from Her Majesty’s Coronation Bouquet, June 1953, and Reproduced by Gracious permission of Her Majesty the Queen. The print is presented in a dark-stained wooden frame under glass.
Condition report:
The white paper margins show significant and even toning and age-related discolouration. The wooden frame exhibits minor surface scuffs, dust, and abrasions. A white adhesive lot label is attached to the top edge of the frame. The print appears flat and well-secured within the frame.
