Roman Empire bronze AE3 follis struck under the authority of Constantine I (the Great) at the Arelate (Arles) mint circa 322 AD. The obverse features the laureate head of Constantine I facing right with the legend transcribed as CONSTAN-TINVS AVG. The reverse is of the Sarmatia Devicta type, commemorating a military victory over the Sarmatians, depicting Victory with a trophy and palm branch above a seated captive. The reverse legend is transcribed as SARMATIA – DEVICTA with the PAR mint mark in the exergue. The coin is professionally encapsulated in a certification holder from the Coins & History Foundation (CHF), bearing certification number SHR.7.ar.257/9217/103191. This lot includes a large-format Certification of Authenticity and historical information documentation within a protective sleeve.

Condition report:
Very fine. The coin exhibits a dark, uniform patina with moderate wear across the high points of the portrait and reverse motifs. Legends and mint marks remain clear and legible. The coin is housed in a clear CHF certification slab and includes original printed documentation.
