Three commemorative numismatic items. The first is a GIB 2022 half crown struck in a silver-coloured metal with a proof-like finish, featuring a Queen Elizabeth II obverse and a commemorative reverse inscribed with the monarch’s 1947 birthday speech text. The second is a GIB 2021 half crown struck in a silver-coloured metal with a proof-like finish, featuring a Queen Elizabeth II obverse and a wren reverse commemorating decimalisation. Both GIB coins feature milled edges and are presented in protective capsules. The collection is completed by a silver-coloured metal medallion featuring a cruciform floral obverse inscribed GOD SAVE THE KING and a crowned reverse inscribed LONG TO REIGN OVER US.
Condition report:
The two encapsulated half crowns appear in uncirculated proof-like condition. The medallion exhibits light surface wear and handling marks consistent with being housed loose.
