This lot comprises an ancient Roman bronze follis issued during the reign of Emperor Constantine I, dating to approximately 306-337 AD. The coin is presented as part of a themed retail set entitled First Christmas, highlighting Constantine’s role as the first Christian Roman Emperor. The obverse depicts a laureated, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constantine I facing right, accompanied by the Latin legend CONSTANTINVS MAX AVG. The reverse features a laurel wreath containing the inscription VOT XX, surrounded by the legend DN CONSTANTINI MAX AVG. The coin is secured in a square clear plastic capsule within a black presentation case. It is accompanied by a thematic information pamphlet and a certificate of authenticity signed by numismatic expert C. Hurlemann. A white outer cardboard box with handwritten identification is also included.

Condition report:
The bronze coin displays significant circulation wear consistent with its age and intended use. It features a dark brown patina with visible light green oxidation (verdigris) present on both the obverse and reverse surfaces. The legends and central motifs remain partially legible despite surface wear. The presentation packaging and documentation are well-preserved, with minor shelf wear and handwriting present on the outer cardboard box.
