A large collection of mixed flatware and cutlery featuring an array of patterns and materials. The lot includes electroplated nickel silver (EPNS), and stainless steel. Included in the assembly are table and dessert forks, various spoons ranging from table to miniature salt spoons, butter and cheese knives, a pair of sugar tongs, and a long-handled cocktail spoon with a tined terminal. The collection also features a set of five knives with cream-coloured composite handles, presented in their original cardboard box. The items display a variety of handle designs, including traditional Fiddle and Old English patterns. No monograms are visible on the pieces.
Condition report:
The collection is in used condition. Significant tarnish and oxidation are present on the silver-plated items. General surface scratching and wear from regular use are visible across the lot. The original cardboard packaging for the knives shows considerable staining and structural wear.
