A collection of nineteen art glass elephant figurines featuring a variety of Mid-Century glass-making techniques and decorative finishes. The group includes several pieces crafted in the sommerso style with encased layers of internal colour, alongside figures containing speckled frit inclusions and aventurine-like metallic flecks. The figurines are presented in various poses and sizes, with a colour palette predominantly featuring amber, dark brown, red, and monochrome speckled tones.
Height: approximately 15cm to 20cm (largest examples).
Condition report:
One large central figurine is severely damaged, with the trunk and one white glass tusk detached from the head; jagged glass loss is visible at the site of the break. The remaining eighteen figurines appear in good overall condition with minor surface scratches and shelf wear to the bases consistent with age and use.
