A collection of approximately 60 vinyl 7 inch singles, 45 RPM, primarily comprising UK pressings from the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. The lot features a broad range of popular music, including rock, pop, glam, and light entertainment. Notable artists include Queen (Bohemian Rhapsody, EMI 2375), David Bowie (Life On Mars?, RCA 2316), ABBA (Dancing Queen, Epic 4499), and Wings (Girls’ School, Capitol R 6018). Other represented artists include Mary Hopkin on Apple Records (Apple 40), Wizzard, David Cassidy, Ultravox, The Carpenters, and Gilbert O’Sullivan. The collection also contains various specialty recordings such as Ennio Morricone (Chi Mai), Torvill and Dean (Bolero), and several BBC Shell Nature Records including titles like Woodland Birds and Field and Open Country Birds. Visible record labels include Apple, RCA Victor, EMI, Polydor, CBS, BBC Records and Tapes, MAM, Decca, Fontana, and Harvest. The records are housed in a vintage blue and cream faux-leather carrying case with a textured finish, carrying handle, and metal latch. Many labels and sleeves bear the handwritten names Betty G or Jane in ink.


Condition report:

Media: Fair to Very Good. Vinyl surfaces show typical dust and superficial scuffing from past use. Ink handwriting is present on many labels. Sleeves: Poor to Good. Condition varies across original company and picture sleeves, with many showing creasing, edge fraying, and small tears. One RAK sleeve has a prominent vertical tear. Case: Fair. The vintage storage case exhibits scuffing and handling wear, particularly to the cream-coloured panels.
