A large collection of miniature glass elephant figurines, primarily of Murano origin, demonstrating various lampwork glassmaking techniques. The assortment includes a diverse range of colours, featuring numerous smoky grey examples alongside pieces in clear, amber, vibrant red, pink, and opaque grey glass. Several figurines exhibit decorative surface details, most notably a specimen with a green and white millefiori cane slice inclusion on the back and another with multi-coloured applied glass decorations. The elephants are modelled in a variety of poses with trunks both raised and lowered.
Height range approximately 2cm to 8cm.
Condition report:
The collection is in overall good condition. As is typical with delicate lampwork glass, there may be minor flea-bite chips or tiny losses to protrusions such as trunks, tusks, or tails, but no major structural damage or professional repairs are evident.
