This diverse collection of clear glass and crystal comprises various decorative and functional pieces. Included is a boxed clear glass decanter stopper by Villeroy and Boch, featuring a teardrop-shaped handle and a ground glass joint, housed within a black presentation box bearing the brand mark and a blue adhesive label.
The collection features two small lidded preserve jars with deep diamond-cut patterns and faceted finials. A circular bowl is included, decorated with a complex starburst and pinwheel pattern featuring a central multi-point star. The lot contains a group of four oval bowls with a textured, bark-like moulded finish to the exterior.
The stemware consists of a set of small glasses, suitable for sherry or liqueur, featuring cut cross-hatch patterns on the bowls and starburst-cut circular feet. There is a set of six tall cylindrical tumblers decorated with vertical rows of etched circular bubble patterns. Also present are various cut glass vases of differing forms, a pair of crystal salt and pepper shakers with faceted bodies and silver-toned metal tops, and several other clear glass vessels. The pieces show sharp, well-defined facets characteristic of lead crystal alongside moulded and etched glass examples.
Condition report:
The glassware appears to be in overall good condition. No chips, cracks, or significant clouding were observed. Minor surface dust and light shelf wear consistent with age and use may be present.
