An assortment of decorative items and literature featuring a Coalport fine bone china figurine titled The Goose Girl, sculpted by Sheila Mitchell for the 200th anniversary of the Brothers Grimm. The base is marked BONE CHINA COALPORT MADE IN ENGLAND The Goose Girl Here I am, forsaken by all the world, and yet I am a Princess The Goose Girl by The Brothers Grimm EW A Limited Edition of 9,400 Figures of which this is figure No. 3691 to mark the 200th anniversary of The Brothers Grimm Sculpture by Sheila Mitchell Coalport, Stoke-on-Trent, England 1985 Compton & Woodhouse Ltd CW. A certificate of authenticity is included. The lot also contains several pieces of Royal Doulton fine bone china in the Moonflower pattern, H. 5104, including a scalloped bowl and two spherical bud vases with silver-toned rims. Each piece bears the Royal Doulton manufacturer mark to the underside. Also present are seven Harry Potter novels by J.K. Rowling, Bloomsbury editions. The group is completed by a square white alarm clock, a black zipped case, a Marks & Spencer Home picture frame, and various miniature decorative figures.
Condition report:
The ceramic items appear in good condition with minor surface dust and light shelf wear. No visible chips, cracks, or repairs to the porcelain. The paper certificate shows minor creasing. The books exhibit light wear to the cover edges and spines. The miscellaneous household items show standard signs of use.
