An assortment of items including an Elna Lotus ZZ portable sewing machine in a beige metal casing. The collection features a Neostar Health mechanical bathroom scale with a chrome-finished dial marked neostar HEALTH, CAP. 160kg GRAD. 1kg, and CAP. 25 stone GRAD. 2 lb. Metalware includes a three-branch silver-plated candelabrum, a brass toasting fork with a decorative handle, a small brass swan, and a knife with a wooden handle. Decorative pieces comprise a large painted cast metal cat figurine on a green base, a wooden cat-shaped doorstop, and several candles decorated with dried leaves. A group of paper ephemera is present, featuring numerous vintage Ordnance Survey maps from the Landranger and One-inch series for regions including South Skye, Keswick, Truro and Falmouth, and The Peak District. Also included is a Golden Fleece road map of Tasmania from H. C. Sleigh Limited, a GWR coaster featuring the Bristol crest and motto VIRTUTE ET INDUSTRIA, and a section of iron railway track.
Condition report:
The sewing machine shows surface dust and minor scuffs. The cast metal cat figurine has significant paint loss to the ears and base. The silver-plated candelabrum is tarnished. Paper maps and ephemera exhibit general wear, creasing, and age-related toning. Surface marks and signs of use are visible across the items in the lot.
