An assortment of decorative glass and crystal tableware comprising various forms, colours, and styles. The collection includes a clear glass spirits decanter of square section, featuring a pressed diamond-cut or hobnail pattern to the body and a matching square-topped stopper. A clear glass bulbous vase is decorated with acid-etched floral and foliate scrolling motifs. Also included is a squat olive green glass vase with a flared neck and an applied white-metal medallion featuring a heraldic crest. The lot contains a pair of matching turquoise blue glass hexagonal containers with moulded arched panels, likely intended as inkwells. A small green glass bowl features red enamelled vine decoration and a scalloped metal rim mount. Additional items include a large clear glass bowl with a scalloped edge, a pressed glass dish, a small glass figurine, and several faceted glass chandelier droplets. No maker’s marks or signatures are visible.
Condition report:
The items are in generally good vintage condition, exhibiting minor surface dust and shelf wear consistent with age. The stopper of the decanter shows minor nicks typical of use. The metal mount on the small green bowl displays surface tarnish and oxidation. No significant chips or cracks were observed on the primary vessels.
