Buyer's Premium:

A group of British commemorative items featuring a themed boxed set, individual crowns, and a crystal memento. The primary item is a St George and the Dragon commemorative set presented in a blue velvet-lined display case. The set includes three gold-plated medallions with colourised central motifs depicting the Battle of Britain, the Sinking of the Bismarck, and St George and the Dragon. Each medallion is housed in a protective acrylic capsule and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The set also contains a gold-toned quartz pocket watch with an ornately engraved case and a colourised dial featuring St George. Accompanying documentation states a limited edition of 9,999 collections worldwide and the inclusion of Swarovski elements. The collection also includes two UK 25 New Pence commemorative crown coins in original Midland Bank black plastic flips. The first coin, dated 1980, commemorates the 80th birthday of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. The second, dated 1981, commemorates the marriage of HRH The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer. Both coins are struck in cupro-nickel with milled edges and feature the second portrait of Elizabeth II on the obverse. Completing the lot is a rectangular 3D laser-etched crystal block featuring a bust of Sir Winston Churchill, inscribed 1874-1965, housed in its original blue presentation box and white sleeve.

Condition report:

The items are in excellent, as-issued condition. The commemorative medallions and pocket watch show no visible wear or tarnishing. The cupro-nickel crown coins are in uncirculated condition with original lustre and remain well-preserved in their original bank flips. The crystal block is clear and without chips or scratches. Presentation boxes and printed documentation exhibit very minor shelf wear and light surface scuffing.
