A trio of framed landscape prints, likely offset lithographs or giclée reproductions of original oil paintings. The set includes three pastoral scenes: a vertical composition depicting a woman gathering water from a forest stream, titled in the margin EXHIBITION OF PAINTINGS; a vertical scene of a country cottage by a river featuring a kingfisher perched on a branch; and a horizontal woodland view with bluebells and a distant stone viaduct. Each piece is presented in a matching gilt-finished wooden frame with a cream-coloured mount under glass. The verso of each frame bears a gold adhesive label for the Barbican Gallery in Plymouth, which provided the framing and restoration services. These labels include a handwritten reference 1866. No artist signatures or edition numbers are visible.
Condition report:
The prints appear in good condition with no obvious signs of fading, foxing, or discolouration. The mounts are clean. The frames exhibit minor surface wear and occasional small chips to the gilt finish on the corners and edges.
