This collection consists of Three commemorative medals celebrating the history and service of the Concorde supersonic aircraft. The medals, issued in 2013, are struck in gold-plated copper with a proof finish. Three large 70mm medals are present, featuring designs for the first flight in Toulouse (1969), the first scheduled flight from Paris to Rio de Janeiro (1976), and the last commercial flight (2003). Each large medal bears the aircraft’s name and relevant dates in both English and French. The collection includes two smaller silver-toned items featuring red wax-style seals, housed in plastic sleeves within the lid. The set is presented in a red-stained wooden case with a blue velvet-lined interior and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity bearing the serial number E 00157 and the reference 195.320.3 NAT.

Condition report:
The medals are housed within protective plastic capsules and appear to be in proof condition. The wooden presentation case shows minor surface scuffing to the exterior. The collection is currently incomplete, as three vacant slots are visible in the main tray of the case.
