A three-coin gold proof set issued by St. Helena for The East India Company London, dated 2023. The collection comprises a Sovereign, a Half Sovereign, and a Quarter Sovereign, each struck in 22ct (916.7 Au) gold. The obverse of each coin features the left-facing effigy of King Charles III by Glyn Davies, with the circumscribed legend CHARLES III · DEI · GRA · REX · F · D · ST. HELENA · 2023 ·. The reverse designs depict varying heraldic motifs: a crowned lion crest for the Sovereign, the Unicorn of Scotland for the Half Sovereign, and a royal shield for the Quarter Sovereign, all featuring the motto DIEU ET MON DROIT. The set is presented in the original high-gloss black lacquered display case with a white outer box and includes a numbered Certificate of Authenticity, identifying this as set 79 of a limited edition of 300 sets.
