A 2023 Bailiwick of Jersey King Charles III Coronation gold proof five-pound coin. The coin is struck in 24ct (0.999) gold with selective silver plating to the reverse. The obverse features the portrait of King Charles III by Glyn Davies, with the initials GD located below the neck truncation, inscribed CHARLES III · BAILIWICK OF JERSEY · 2023. The reverse, designed by Quentin Peacock and Timothy Noad, depicts the royal cypher of King Charles III surrounded by stylized acanthus leaves, inscribed KING CHARLES III CORONATION · FIVE POUNDS. This specimen is number 073 of a limited edition of 100. The piece is housed in its original clear plastic capsule and presented in a black folding display case, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, a printed informational brochure, and a black cardboard outer sleeve.
